MEET YOUR ASHEVILLE PHOTOGRAPHER

Asheville isn’t just where I live, it’s the lens I see the world through. I grew up wandering these downtown streets, getting lost in record shops, old buildings, and mountain sunsets. Those walks taught me to notice the way light hits brick, how strangers interact, and how everyday moments quietly become art.

I picked up my first camera with my mom’s little point-and-shoot, but everything changed when I got my DSLR as a teenager. I fell in love with street photography first – chasing shadows, reflections, and real life in black and white. That season shaped the way I shoot now: honest, moody, a little gritty, and always rooted in real emotion.

These days, I pour that same soul into couples, portraits, and branding sessions. My work lives in the space between editorial and documentary – a mix of gentle direction and genuine candid moments. Think romantic, timeless, a little cinematic… like stills from a film you wish you were in.

I’m not interested in perfectly posed, stiff photos. I’m interested in who you are when you soften your shoulders, when you laugh too hard, when you let your guard down. Whether we’re wandering downtown, dancing on a parking deck, or chasing the last bit of golden light in the mountains, my goal is for it to feel less like a photoshoot and more like hanging out with a friend who happens to have a camera.

When I’m not creating, I’m a mama to two wild, wonderful boys and three furry pups. We’re usually outside, exploring, playing music, or walking around downtown. Every day, I’m grateful that this is my work – telling stories, celebrating love, and turning tiny moments into something you can hold onto forever.
